Quest for the Brave

You become aware that you are bathed in light. Upon closer inspection, you discover it to be primeval cosmic microwave background radiation bequeathed by the fiery beginnings of the Big Bang. 

What do you wonder about at night, traveller?

The story ends with Heat Death of the Universe. But what comes before? 

Alas, let me tell give you my NPC lore: Avid reader, amateur runner, obsessive compulsive minimalist, museum aficionado... I ponder our cosmic horizon in endless parallel multiverses, the concept of inorganic life and consciousness, cognitive biases in human thought, the applicability of social democractic policies, delightful poetic quips, and cute puppies. My character quests to improve information synthesis and design to better inform the general public about everyday issues. 

Is it possible to be both optimistically curious and stoically existential? I'd like to think so. 

My thoughts are usually too convoluted to be appropriate quest material for all adventurers. Yet here, I hope to create with them some semblance of order in our perpetual struggle against entropic chaos, and share with the odd traveller my learnings, musings, and aspirational journey.
